Chart explanation: GMR is obviously weaker then market and look like have “own way”. I will look for selling continuation and pull back from daily 10sma resistance area- Equal move is around $7.50 area and previous low is $6.50 area what will be monthly double bottom pattern. If market will start with weekly correction I will expect from GMR to continue with down trend action.

Chart explanation: CTB forming daily and weekly triangle. I won’t expect weekly equal move but if market will bounce I believe that CTB can see weekly 200sma resistance area. It is obviously that CTB have own way for now and it is much stronger then market. On the daily chart we can see that5 10sma (brown line) is key support area for setup what I described on the chart.

Trading Strategy:
I didn’t find many charts for position setup and I don’t have clear trading plan but I will follow DF. I like weekly/monthly consolidation after bounce from lows and look like want break up and it is important to follow monthly 10/20sma as key resistance areas. As always after setup it is important to see pace and volume and same will be with DF. I want see how will DF react on possible market selling pressure and after nice daily bounce best will be to see pattern before setup. For now ideas is for buy above $20 number resistance area and stop is under $17.50 area but trading plan I will post on time in the trading room.

Thursday brought a consolidation day which is common after continued selling. On the 60 min charts we can see what kind of action we got and first conclusion is the bounce from the low is not strong, not stronger than the selling into low. That action increases the odds for selling pressure on Friday to the previous low which will form a double bottom pattern. All this depends on the selling pace. Of course that is just one scenario and since Thursday's action was not very strong all options are open. We can see the bounce continuation if the 60 min 10sma will hold and we can see range action. Right now the charts don’t suggest any clear direction and we can’t change that, but we can expect risk level and without clear direction it won’t be low.

On the daily charts I drew a channel line which shows a down trend with a lower high and lower low and that is what we have right now. Unfortunately the daily chart doesn't help us with Friday prediction and answer is same: not good odds for any direction. We can see support clearly and the resistance areas on the 60 min charts and right now we must follow them. One very possible scenario is the selling pressure flushes out the weak hands with a new 60 min low that will be a bottom for now. I will look for intraday setups until the 60 min chart gives us a clear reversal pattern. Note that tomorrow is summer Friday and after the mornings action we can see choppy action the rest of the day which has been will be “normal” action lately.

Good day,

I expected more strength on Tuesday, but the day closed very weak and we had another trend day. Some strong daily support areas were broken. We can see that on daily charts (SPY daily 200sma, QQQQ daily 50sma and DIA previous low). It is hard to see the bounce because there are new supports very close and the DIA/SPY and closed right at another that we can see on the daily charts. Since the selling pace was strong, especially on QQQQ daily chart and if Wednesday does not bring some a stronger 60 min bounce, then indices have room to see the weekly 20sma support area on this daily trend move. It is just the question whether we see a bounce or after. My bias is bearish, but since the move down is already on the way without intraday consolidation it is hard to find low a risk setup and if selling pressure continues without rest, then the risk for new short setups will increase.

Selling continuation is good for open swing short trades and I will just put a trailing stop on them. New setups I will look for 60 min and smaller time frames. At the same time I’m scanning for strong charts in case the market will start a correction and I will look for long opportunities. On the 60 min charts we can see three selling waves and that is another reason to be very cautious with new short setups. Without the market open it is hard to tell what we see tomorrow. After the weak close the indices have good odds for gap down. Generally my bias is still down and I mentioned that several times. Selling pace is good and daily equal move is a reasonable target for DIA/SPY. On daily QQQQ chart we can see the second wave selling pace is stronger than the first, which suggests for more than an equal move. I will look for morning weakness and then a correction.
